Temps are starting to dip and the desert is calling! Last weekend I got down to the park for a few days of climbing and camping. I've been fortunate enough to spend a significant amount of time in the park over the past 10 years and hopefully this winter will be no different. There is something special about Joshua Tree that goes beyond the rock climbing and is more just about the uniqueness of the landscape and the connection to nature. This past trip I got in a nice run up Ryan Mountain and climbed until my fingers said no mas! Sunday morning session at the Gunsmoke Area was outstanding. Hit up The Chube which is ultra classic and took a few burns on Gunsmoke. A couple of attempts on Streetcar Named Desire (V6) and High Noon (V5) which both felt ok considering my lack of hard bouldering recently and the warm temps. Will send this year for sure!
