Reindeer Romp 4k

Looks like I will be able to run the Reindeer Romp 4k again this year back in Louisville! This has sort of become a tradition race for the family and is always a good time. The 2+ mile course basically loops around Cherokee park and includes two solid hills, one right up to the finish line. Last year I ran 16:57 which was put me in 46th place overall, pace of 6:49.2. Which is a decent pace for an Ironman marathon, but not exactly blistering for a 4kt. The year before I ran slightly slower than that. I would like to get the pace down closer to 6 minutes flat so that is the goal!
